We fell in love with a Napa that we came to know in the early 80s. Farmers and winemakers tasting out of their caves. Unabashedly agrarian and bucolic. Napa has changed a lot since then, but we haven’t. We wanted our own piece of dirt, here high on the mountain, where we could pursue a simple version of farming and winemaking. Our crushpad is rustic, and our caves unadorned. On the shoulders of the families before us, we have worked to revitalize and expand the vineyard to reach its full potential. The wines are expressive and forthright in their structure, a testament to the grandeur of the site. We look forward to sharing both with you.
